you're right no I live in LA, but I lived there for like 2 years when i was younger. And my parents always used to talk in Farsi with eachother and it annoyed me that I didn't understand what they were saying so I asked them to teach me I still suck though

the total opposite for me It'd be so weird for me to talk to them in Farsi. It'd be weird for them too. They only talk in Farsi with eachother when they're like having private conversations
