You know, with Taylor's sense of humor and her rocker side in "Eyes Open" I wish she'd go on the Bob and Tom show either to promote it or her next album. I know Tom respects her as a songwriter and singer, and it would be interesting to hear her interact with them in a laid-back, humor-based environment. Someone put this in Taylor's ears and her people's ears....make it happen!! I know Joel McHale is a fairly frequent guest on their show too, so if Taylor really did do a spoof video with him...that's like 2 degrees of separation.../crosses fingers.
Bob and Tom have had many music legends on their show, so Taylor is just one more logical guest they should interview. Maybe they could get her to do a collaborative comedic song with Heywood Banks or someone...or a blues duet with Duke Tumatoe (a frequent live blues guest)

Reading ACM predictions. It's actually a split between Blake and Taylor for EOTY
Taste Of Country: Blake Shelton
Gold Derby: Taylor Swift
Country Universe: Taylor Swift
Cowboys Indians: Blake Shelton
Roughstock: Taylor Swift

BMR could bargain with the ACM to have Taylor lose EOTY, for fear of overexposure.
We discussed this before, I think.

wouldn't surprise me if they give it to Blake, regardless of fan votes. Look at how they ignored the success of "Speak Now" and all her song nominations last couple years, in spite of it's impact on music and country music.
If they do give it to Blake, good for him, he's been a big presence in music the last couple years. I just wish Taylor got even 1% of the promo other artists like Blake, Carrie and every other name you can think of gets on T.V. via American Idol, Glee, Smash, the Voice and on and on. Amazing how she's managed to compete and even outperform in sales vs. all these other artsts when she gets none of the promotion they do on T.V.

Yeah. This was also pointed out by one website (i forgot). They were pretty surprised that Mean wasn't nominated for Single and Song of the Year. I also read before that the ACMs remains second to CMA because of the fact that it can be somewhat manipulated by the industry and politics around it, compared to the fair awards which is CMA. So, lol. Just saying.

ACMs, where 'horse-trading' is completely legal. Besides, by losing this year, it would give her much more advantages for album promo.

I've just realized that all of Taylor's soundtrack songs have been named by critics as "the best song on the soundtrack"
-Crazier from Hannah Montana
-Today Was A Fairytale from Valentine's Day
-Safe & Sound from Hunger Games
Soundtrack Queen
EDIT: IDK why, but TWAF was really well-recieved by critics.

If one of the four males were to win EOTY, I think it would be Kenny, not Blake. Kenny has a larger fanbase. Brad and Aldean both have no chance in hell.

Yeah, that's really the only way she could possibly lose it. She'll probably go home empty-handed.
EOTY - Kenny
Female Vocalist - Miranda
Video - Red Solo Cup
Lady A will probably win probably win multiple awards for the umpteenth time.

Question.
I'm making a list of where all of Taylor's songs have peaked on the Hot 100... Should I list them by peak or by release date?

Not so far away from ACAs ( ). I'm going with your predictions. If Taylor got to lose this year, best is losing to Chesney. No other nominee worked as hard as Taylor and Kenny. I'm good too if Brad won. ACMs, if you don't want a backlash, Kenny is your safest choice. You win, Kenny win, and Taylor win. Sure if we want to use our brain, Taylor has fans from all over the world. Has the biggest fanbase there. With the campaign she had done, I think she has won the fan-vote (50%). If she lost, we all know who to look at - BMR, other acts' managers, & Academy.
Remember SCM's predictions? Looking at Taylor's album cycle, BMR may will go for losing this year. The upset from it will give a huge boost to album #4. One thing that made me thinking about it again is the campaign that Taylor had this year. 2 times in a row EOTY winner sounds nice anyway.
UH. Lady A. What is so great actually from them? I've listened to their albums for 3 times each now, and still don't get it.

Release date would be much easier to read.

I agree. If anyone other than Taylor would win, i would actually want it to be Brad. I see him as humble and is long overdue of his win.

Brad played the game as hard as Taylor. It's a fair battle. All nominees except Kenny actually. Really, the safest choice is Kenny or Taylor, and Brad.
Aldean, as much as I dislike him, he's not there yet. Blake benefited from The Voice, a lot. But that's it, other than few small tours. Aldean as a touring act is not as big as Taylor/Kenny/Brad. Sure he leads the album sales, but he hasn't shown the consistency yet.
I'm curious with the BMR's strategy this year.
FVOTY is not to win. It will be Miranda. Her & Blake = Faith & Tim 2.0. #nuffsaid
Video - that crappy song about a cup. Who can beat Toby's power on radio for the last 10 years tbh? Stole this fact from ACAs (don't comment on this one).

Kenny actually has no chance since he hasn't promoted the EOTY once plus the industry people haven't been fair to him in recent time. I think they all think he has won it too many times before. Honestly the two you listed as having no chance probably have a better chance than Blake or Kenny

Right? They're painfully bland, and it's not just Country academies either, but the Grammys too. Speak Now got robbed twice of album awards thanks to them, to Need You Now at last year's ACMs and to Own the Night at the Grammys.

Taylor's never done well at the ACMs anyways... 5/16.
And 2 of those were special awards, not actual category awards.

if anyone other than Taylor wins EOTY I'd be most ok with it being Kenny. He seems to be a consistent and true friend to her, and his tours are as big generally as Taylor's. Besides he had a great presence on radio and seems like a really good guy. I'm not saying the other's aren't, but after Taylor my preference would be Kenny.
As for FVoTY or video, I've no idea, I kind of doubt she wins either. I think the ACMs are more political than CMAs and try to please everyone, without regard to who actually had the best of whatever category you name. I still don't know how Lady A won country album last year at the grammys and this year too, they are ok but by no means had the best album. I still dislike that Taylor isn't performing, but maybe it was her choice. I just don't like that already she gets less promotion time/opportunities for her music on t.v. in shows and events than any of the other country stars, when she's the biggest of them all.
(my personal opinion..certain artists have banded together in the past to "convince" the ACMs to overlook Taylor...in awards and in various other ways. My opinion, once again)
