Of the 19 tracks that make up Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, Champion and I Am Your Leader are the only two which have managed to secure a place on my iPhone and even those two songs aren’t as good as many of the songs found on the original Pink Friday. We’ve known for a while that Nicki isn’t the same rapper she was back in 2005 but now she’s not even the same Nicki that she was in 2010. The purpose of this review isn’t the bash her but to help her hip-hop fans come to terms with the fact that she no longer makes music for us. Reviews like these are puzzling. I don't know how you can claim to be a fan of Nicki and be 'shocked' at the direction her music has taken. Nicki has stated numerous times during pre-mainstream career that she's always wanted to do music like she's doing now but she felt she had to act a certain way (i.e. "hood," and "go hard").
I mean I honestly feel like a broken record. I don't care anymore. If people leave her, whatever. She obviously accumulated new fans along the way. It's just a shame that the fans who leave are so narrow minded.
Oh well. The Queen is still #winning.
