Yours?

Gun Shot
Champion
Sex in the Lounge
I probably hate Champion the most.
EDIT: Add Masquerade to that list and take Gun Shot off.

Full of Hov Lane and Coac songs I would be satisfied. My pop side wouldn't be though.

Well, since we sharin' our Nicki stories... I still remember when I first heard her Up Out My Face verses. Back then, I was just a Bey and Mariah stan. First listen, I was like "What the hell is a Nicki Minaj? Why can't I understand a word she's saying?". Second listen, I was like "Wait tho. I may not know what she's saying, but this kinda knocks". Between my 2nd and 3rd listens, I came across the lyrics. Overall, I was confused, but by the time I was done with my 3rd listen, I fell in love with the line "I get the thumbs up like I'm hailin' a yellow cab / My flow nuts like M&M's in a yellow bag". That was the first Nicki line that I actually understood what she meant and I thought it was hella clever. By the time the music video came, I still didn't understand what everything meant (contraband?), but I knew every word and I was slayed by that Target promo music video.
This was about the time that BedRock was smashing too. I used to hear it on the radio, and I realized that that was the same girl from Up Out My Face that I was feelin'. I would bop to BedRock when I heard it on the radio, but never really went out of my way to listen to it. But then my good friend at the time, this lil white girl (the kind who loves Country music), was going around talking about how she's the "bestest", and I was like "Alright, let me play this song again". Of course, I learned all the words to that one, although I didn't quite know what everything meant.
Then the most pivotal point came.
Itty Bitty Piggy,
This one has an interesting (IMO) story. On another forum, there was a Christina stan who linked me to this one video on YT that I can't find. It was basically clips of Christina from various videos in sync with "I don't even know why you girls bother ... I win, you lose ... I'm a bad bitch, I'ma I'ma bad bitch". After laughing at the video, I found out what the song was. I searched it, and I found the music video for Itty Bitty Piggy. It slayed the HELL out of me. I could barely understand what she was saying, but gotdamn it, that Donk! instrumental was fire, her flow was fire, and I was FEELING it hard. I knew I just had to find the lyrics. So I found this lyrics video with a green background, it has a bunch of views so I'm sure you guys have seen it, and I learned every single word.
Then I realized that I should probably find out what the hell I'm saying. That's when I discovered RapGenius. I found the lyrics to Itty Bitty Piggy on RapGenius and was slayed by all the interpretations of the various metaphors in the song. I was impressed by how everything she said had a meaning, even though the pop fans from the forum I was one acted like she was just saying a bunch of gibberish. When I realized that it wasn't gibberish, but clever metaphors, that's when I really became a fan.
After that, I kept discovering old mixtape songs (me and my friend's fun song to rap was Gettin' Paid ) and I came across many many features. The features slayed me so hard. I can't even remember which one did it, but by this time, I was basically a stan. I remember whoring out her Hello, Goodmorning verse. I remember defending the verse like a stan. I remember schooling hoes on what she meant (while using RapGenius as a reference) like a stan. It was just all coming together.
But damn, this got really long. I did not expect to be writing a damn essay over here. So let me wrap it up. Long story short, once I got into her, I really got into her, and I never stopped. The more I heard, all the way to Pink Friday, all the way to Roman in Moscow, all the way to the present — I never stopped loving this chick.

Mine is short. I saw her at the preshow VMAs, hated the way she came off.
Then just gradually started to like her after viewing her videos and actually listening to her songs in Pink Friday. Shocked me cause the album was so varied
This bitch is real though. it's like how I got into Gaga too.

tl;dr
hahaha jk. I did.
Her features really are what got her off the ground, I don't think anyone can deny that... like, exposing her to people like you (and me) who wouldn't listen to underground mixtapes (I'm just assuming you wouldn't have, being a Mariah and Beyonce stan hahaha) through features was hella smart.
