Bieber's lead is astounding. A 2% gain at this point is HUGE.
Here's some MATHS:
So, as a starting point, let's assume fun. is on track to sell 350K.
Then, say Bieber matches them and both Boyfriend and We Are Young are at 100%. A 2% gain over it would leave BF at 100% and WAY at 98%. Fun. would would be on track to sell 350K, so Bieber would now be on track to sell 357,142 copies, an increase of 7,142 copies in his projected sales or 7,142/350,000=2.04%.
Now, let's consider a 2% gain when Fun. drops from 38% to 36%. When Fun. is at 38%, Bieber's projected sales are (100/38)*(350,000)=897,435. When Fun. is at 36%, Bieber's projected sales are (100/36)*(350,000)=972,222, an increase of 74,787 copies or 8.3%.
So, gains at this point are MASSIVE. Him gaining 2% now is the equivalent of Fun. dropping from about 100 to 82.4%.

Billboard or HDD will more than likely comment on sales tomorrow. I bet he sold / will sell 150-200k today alone.

I'm guessing it'll start falling after 24 hours or so.
But Bieber having close to triple fun.'s downloads means he'll sell about 150k in his first day. So the poster above would be correct that if he maintained that he'd sell a million. However, there's no way he will. Still, very very impressive especially given that he's only been in Hot Digital Songs T3 once.
What were the margins like the day BTW came out?

I believe Gaga had something like an 6:1 sales ratio on #2, but the #2 at the time (Colbie Caillat's "I Do") was not as strong.
