Let me start off by saying...
I'm so gonna buy this album. No matter what.
But...
When is the earliest we should expect to have the songs on our iPod via a L e a k ?

Our views are completely opposite of each other.  I love SH, RIM, and RBMS (especially the latter), and while I also enjoy Starships and TMO, I don't think they have anything on the first three songs.

I thought it leaked because there's so many people here.

thx nicki appreciates all the support but according to officials in this thread they've all been saying the earliest is today (saturday) that it can leak

Nobody really knows. I'd guess like Thursday at the latest but there haven't been any rumblings of it coming yet.

Generic = Sounding like the majority of pop songs released today.
Not Generic = Not sounding like the majority of pop songs released today.
Examples can't really be given, since it's all subjective.

I can kind of answer that question by telling you first which ones I think are the definite generic ones: 10-14. The very first listen through the snippets, I couldnt tell any of those apart seconds after I listened to them. That's not to say I dont really like some of them already . I guess the rest of the pop songs are either not that generic or I just can't really identify them as being cookie-cutter.

Thanks for letting me know.
I'm a pretty big fan of nicki. I love her wide range of music she's given to us. I'm pretty excited for the new album. Something for everybody.

This album has to leak very soon, I play all those snippets like crazy but I now I want the full songs.

well 10-14 are all dance pop. are dance pop songs hard to make distinct and different Reed ?

I can't remember any of the snippets past YF (although I do remember VVV), and yes, I believe all the dance-pop songs are generic. I don't think that Beautiful Sinner is generic, since not many people are doing dance-ballads. But Pound the Alarm just incorporates house breakdowns and electro-pop beats, much like other songs out today; Turn Up the Music, Where Have You Been, and even Starships are examples of that sound already being done. All the other dance-pop songs just sound like variations of Starships/PTA, so... yeah, I think they're generic, too. Not that I don't enjoy them, I just think they're generic.

To me it sounds like every other dance-pop song out today, especially since it's produced by Guetta. But I respect your opinion.

"Super Bass", "Moment 4 Life", "Starships", "Turn Me On", "Roman's Revenge", and "Girls Fall Like Dominoes" are the ones I like overall.

the only thing that makes me cringe about some of the pop songs are the lyrics
talking about the dance floor, pour another drink etc etc etc.
