Well that's the main motivation behind it. They dwell on the fact that Quebec isn't up to par with the rest of the provinces in terms of tuition. But what does everywhere else have to do with what's going on here? Quebec loves to pride itself as being different from the rest of Canada when it's convenient but it's a two-way street. Plus, who's to say that the situation is better elsewhere? When did education become a commodity? Especially since it's impossible to get a well-paying, stable job without a degree.
Pensions are running dry and it'll be our generation footing the medical bills for our aging population so who should
really be investing in my education?
