Beyonce is critically acclaimed as well and writes a lot of her own music too. She's the first african American woman to win ASCAP POP SONGWRITER of the year and she's won the award 3 times. What are you saying Hun?
If you put Madonna & Beyoncé on the same stage at the same time and give both the same song (both have never performed before) to perform totally unprepared it is obvious who would outperform who. Just stop. I like Madonna but to say she is a better OVERALL performer than Beyoncé is ludicrous. When the average person is talking about performing they're refering to singing and dancing, not props and visuals.

People seem to forget that singing and dancing are the foundations of performing. They are the basics. Trying to belittle singing and dancing just to make visuals and props look better is pointless. Whether it be a simple local talent show in your hometown or some broadway performance in Las Vegas...you're gonna need to sing and dance or at least do one. Any graphic designer can throw visuals together, does that make them a performer?
And the KI is there is likely to be some type of designer behind the scenes actually creating those visuals/backdrops and some type of arts/craft worker creating the props. The same goes for the designer/stylist is who is creating the outfits, so what exactly does Madonna the "artist" do?
I'm not arguing that Madonna is a better performer than Beyoncé. She isn't. But she has paid her dues and regardless of what you think of her as a stage act today, she has BEEN one of the greats. However, her artistry will always overshadow her stage performing. With Bey it's the other way around.
