I agree I don't think ai will boost the sales that much but it will make people aware that it's her next single and radio will recognize it m

She's still not known enough to get that boost that Gaga gets or Jennifer.

I mean most of the performers who performed on AI didn't get a huge boost.. even Rihanna sold 22k with CKB for gods sake and its Rihanna LOL

I just wanna ask you, did you check on wikipedia at how MANY artists didn't even sell more than 10k after the American Idol performance?
Only the artists who were already charting got a GOOD increase. The ones that had a music video, the ones that had a LOT of radio airplay and the HUGE artists.
Many viewers didn't even know the song before. They won't go buy it the first time after they heard it, i mean seriously

I know one performance isn't gonna make me buy the song. I usually see a performance and here the song on th radio a bit and then I decide if i like it enough to buy it. But at least when someone here's it on the radio know people will recognize it's her

exactly. People WILL buy it if they hear it on radio several times.
It's rare that a song that didn't reach out to a huge audience gets a good boost on TV performances. It was kinda like that with Skyscraper, but i mean it was because it's really emotional and she could impress people with it.
