first of all, how old are you? I assume you have not seen the world went crazy over Britney's debut.
Of course, she will not always be on top coz there will be new artists like Katy and Rihanna but that does not mean her success was nothing. Younger generation nowadays would prefer Katy and Rihanna and it is not difficult to understand since they could relate more to them.
But Britney is definitely on a higher level than these two.
That is why she is on Gaga and Beyonce's level because they are more influential, successful, iconic than these artists.
