YAS FOR GNO!
THATS BEEN MY JAM FOR THE LONGEST TIME.
America would use a track like this more than S. Korea did (), they better include it on their album.
I just don't understand what's so hard for Asian companies to grasp about debuting in the States. Make a catchy dance track with Dr. Luke, RedOne, David Guetta - one of the big-name hitmakers - and release it with intense promotion, particularly in the performance department. Say what you want about the current state of American music, but if a group can perform, the US takes note. All 2NE1 would have to do is drop a track like Where Have You Been or Starships with a few high-profile, kickass performances and a top 20 hit wouldn't be too far out of reach.
Sometimes I think that they simply overcomplicate the whole thing.

Yes, but i have a feeling that "Like Money" will be good (at least better than "The DJ is Mine").
OMG, can ya'll imagine how hard Yubin, Sunny and Lim would slay in a music video for G.N.O?
THE EPICNESS WOULD BE TOO MUCH
but you forgot about the amazing Yenny

What kind of Japanese promotion?
They are going to release the single and music video at the same time, like always. Don't worry

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
that's the last thing they should do. That's Americanizing their sound, which is stupid and sad.
All the companies don't know how to promote in a Western music scene. Wonder Girls are the first to understand that you need to promote differently, they just don't know how.
DaLYCD, individuality comes later. The K-pop scene is far too foreign for the West to latch onto without a little conforming. Besides, they can still retain their roots while catering to Western interest. Eastern style is just not going to cut it.
