it doesn't matter. the poll is asking about who will be remembered as the biggest black female. you said urself that Donna was more important to the makings of a black female popstar than Diana but will she be remembered more than someone like Diana? No. The same could apply to Janet & how she won't be remembered as the greatest Black Female over Whitney or Diana because while her influence might be greater than theirs it doesn't necessarily make her name or celebrity bigger than theirs.
& why do y'all keep bringing up Donna with me? I said nothing about Donna, I didn't even bring her up.

But what you have to remember is what works for a man, won't work for a woman, and vice versa. Although there are others to inspire, it doesn't always work in that way.
Diana and Donna both lacked in areas that Janet excelled at - videos, albums, performing, etc. Although that is no fault of their own, so that's why I don't think Diana should be included in the list. The timing of Whitney and Janet made rocketing to pop stardom more easily accessible than Diana, per se. It is for those reasons why Janet has eclipsed them, sadly.
And you brought up Donna as a means of discrediting Janet back in page 17 or so.
