She was The Femme Fatale era had some mishaps but that doesn't take away that Britney is a great dancer. Just keep on reaching.

Circus era was a mess!!!

I DON'T need people to say "omg Demi lovato is so good, because her sales are so high!"
That kind of recognition that we want, is about her singing, songwriting skills, about her quality music and stuff.

She still tried to get people to buy it even when it was out. It wasn't until Christmas season rolled around that she stopped.

She's a good singer, but her voice isn't instantly recognizable. Plus, she has that Disney stigma holding her back.
It's kinda sad though that below average singers such as Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Rihanna are able to breakthrough while someone like her is swept under the rug, but it also boils down to material. While her songs are cute, they are no where near as interesting as the stuff that gets recognition these days, and that's how the artists I named have been able to strive despite not having the voice. She just needs a push.

Yes she has agreat voice, but I don't think she is underrated. If people like her music they will buy it and listen to her, but if they don't then they won't.

But, I guess your little mind didn't really grasp that concept at all.) Let me clock you by point dealing with the reality shows: Sure, The Voice is ABOUT singers having "the voice" BUT in the end the show was NOTHING more than a vehicle for the judges to shine. Does anybody even remember who won that show? Yes, Idol is also about having a good voice BUT notice the makeovers the contestants have to go through, if it was completely about the voices then they wouldn't have to be groomed and plucked into becoming stars, it's about the overall package. Sidenote: Do you think the teenage girls that called in to vote for Scotty really care about his one-note voice? Nope.
My fave ADMITS she is NOT Mariah Carey, so come after your vocals all you want, it's nothing that she doesn't already know, lol.
|
No **** hun, do you want them to look garbage while performing?? I didn't deny that point.
and yeah.... you didn't clock me, nice try

Lol finally someone who makes sense The only thing I'd disagree with is her material, whilst a lot of single choices were sloppy seeing as though there were better album songs, her material is generally really strong. I think each album she's released has had songs that could be commercial hits but the label ignored the songs.

Exactly the point I was making, her material is just lacking, but they fail to understand that point at all.

not EVERYTHING is about selling well or not. Demi is not that kind of artist that uses everything to promote her. I mean look at her twitter, she barely promotes herself.

That GOES back to the point I originally stated: Demi has NO star potential, if she did, people would easily embrace her as an artist but they don't. Thank you for proving MY point.
