Because that's how reason works, you form a conclusion based off observations, by your logic you could justify anything by saying "WHY DO YOU NEED PROOF THAT MARS IS MADE OF CHEESE, HUH??!!?!!"

I don't believe in God because his existence makes no sense to me, I see no logical reasoning behind believe he exists - it's nothing to do with Science. I actually stopped believing in him long before I know scientific reasons for the world beginning. (And I went to a Roman Catholic school and was the top of my R.E. classes for 13 years so don't imply I'm an uneducated idiot in the subject.)

Im a christian but i have some atheist friends and they do not think that rape kidnapping or any of those horrible things you stated are to be tolerated. Like Woahh any relevent and rational human kind knows that and those opinions have to do nothing whith religion. Why do we have to treat others differently because of their religion. And what doesnt make jewish atheist or budhist or muslim religions any truer from christian or other religions?

Atheists in particular will believe only what science supports, that is my argument. I'm questioning, WHY, especially since they've been wrong over and over again. If a man in a lab coat and glasses (with an incredible resume and a few degrees) made a statement tomorrow saying humans have some extra tucked away sensor in the brain, with the ability to trigger telepathy, THEY'D BELIEVE IT. WHY? Is that reasonable? I guess, if he uses big words, huh?

How do you explain NDE's? Or OBE's? Are all those people liars? What about a former atheist who experienced one of the two, do you question where his "proof" is?

How can you just rely on your senses? A man who's lived in a cave his entire life cannot see, feel, hear, or touch a neutrino, would he be wrong to assume they did not exist? Technology has carried us so much, who's to say there isn't a concoction somewhere in the future that allows us to see God himself? You can't see love can you? Or touch it? Or hear it? So, who's to say it exists right?
