But it's still bad , like .. everyone has guns , a lot of kidnapping happening , fights between a city and another , more like a group and another . it's still a mess but hopefully time will fix it
And yeah Syria , I hope that they succeed soon because it's terrible over there!

The riots in Egypt was all over the news. Tunisia only got a small coverage, but the condition was worse than Egypt. But I though it was bad until I heard about Libya & Syria. I thought I would be a never ending war for Libya, glad I was wrong. Not surprised that everyone keeps the guns, because 1) they need to protect themselves and the other people feel the need to 2) make a chaos.
Yes, Syria's condition was the definite nightmare. At Libya, people were able to fight back right? I heard in Syria, the public have nothing to protect themselves. And the military, God. It's more like an approved public massacre.
2011 was a crazy year. The war's impact on global economy was really hard. Also the death of Saudi crown prince didn't help the market at all. Oil price is still as high as ever, $109 today with the highest between $130-$150. Also wanna add, do any of y'all follow on gold price? Craziest jump, ever.
One that I think we all can agree, things will never be as good again, at least in the near future. I miss the old times tbh.

When I was just a care-free college student, I declared that I would never worry about things, cause it's not as bad as how media said.
Then I decided to help my sister, it really opened my eyes and made me realize that I was too dumb.
It takes at least 10 years to back to normal condition from post-war. I'll take Indonesia for example. It's a multi-cultural country, so clashes are kinda expected there. But back in 1997, Indo went through the same condition. But it was closer to Egypt in term of how bad the condition back then. Expect corrupt government. That's just inevitable. And thuggery will remain exist.

I hope that it takes less than 10 years :/ . Ugh I hate how it was supposed to be just a revolution , but it turned into a war .

You need to lose a lot of things for a change. That's what I've learned when it comes to "revolution". The bads > the goods.

Everytime I watch the Safe & Sound music video I notice how bad Joy Williams did the lip syncing .. she barely opened her mouth , but like , she had an attitude in the video , I liked that.

Heard about Taylor having the #2 album in China! Why isn't she certified there yet? I mean she should be at least gold if she sold enough to be #2

I know I thought about that earlier !
But I looked at Speak Now's wikipedia page , and noticed that it didn't even chart in Chine , which made me consider China not having an official music chart , BUT there's a chart of '' Taiwan '' which is in China . and Speak Now debuted at #1 there .
I don't think that they certify albums in China because I also checked Goodbye Lullaby's page and it didn't have a Chinese certification . it had an honour in the '' Year end charts '' as the best selling western album in Taiwan AND in China , which made me confused but oh well !

It's different in Far East Asia. The impact of western music is not as big as in, say, Southeast Asia & other part of Asia. Yes it's the biggest part of Asia, because of China. Compared to Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, western music is barely heard there. Unless you're going to a big shopping mall, then you will hardly find any record stores (same like in Indonesia). Also people in China are VERY traditionalist, they are not really open to western culture. If I can simplify it, they just love themselves too much and think that newcomers are gonna 'destroy' their culture. Over-protective people when it comes to culture. Besides, music is not as 'important' there as it is in US or Europe. It's really hard to get any info like sales report from China, cause basically people there don't care about it and the RIAA-like academy don't bother to announce it (since no one asks for it).
So if there's a report like Taylor got #2 slot at Year-End report like that, I'll take it 50-50.
Just my 2 cents.

Lucky You is so awesome. And its more awesome to think this was the first song she wrote when she knew only 3 chords on the guitar. I've been playing guitar for months now and I couldnt even make a decent melody. #hatelife
It sounds very 80s-Madonna to me.
