But it wasn't exactly, issued to radio though is what I'm asking.
A premiere isn't the same thing as being sent to radio.
And yes, I'm trying to find this to be a "buzz" single.

The CD single release seems to have been pushed back too...
I hope it is.
I usually hate this ****, BUT, I'm here for "Girls Gone Wild" being the lead single instead.

We probably look such a mess.
But, IDEC.
A song beginning with prayers, NOW THAT IS MADONNA.
Did they really only release this song because it fits with the Super Bowl theme?
That wasn't smart; and now the Super Bowl promo is ruined.

It was actually because they wanted GMAYL to coincide with Nicki's and MIA's releases (what would've been Nicki's original album release and MIA's Bad Girls).

WAIT A MINUTE
Quote:
“Girls Gone Wild” opens up the way “Like a Prayer” (the album) closes: with an “Act of Contrition” spoken by Madonna.
The snippet included in the iHeartRadio MDNA megamix doesn’t really do the song justice.
The beat of this song is simply insane!
It’s the most danceable pop song you’ve ever heard!
We can expect the remixes to kill everything.
It’s all about a good girl wanting to have fun on the dance floor (“in the zone”) accepting her status of bad girl… and it’s a little autobiographical too: “I know good girls don’t misbehave, but I’m a bad girl anyway”.
Still, towards the end, Madonna whispers “Forgive me”…
|
Is "in the zone" a Britney hint?

I hope not.
I like Britney but I don't want more people calling Madonna "desperate" and I don't think her voice would fit with the music and idk her image won't fit the theme of the album.

It's hardly desperate.
They've worked together in the past.
It's not like Britney is overused, this would be her first EVER featured single in her 12-13 year old career.

I don't think it's desperate, but whenever Madonna collaborates with anyone, it will be seen as a desperate attempt to score a hit.
Hell, people even said that she was using M.I.A. to score a hit.....
