I think she feels like everyone forgot about it when it just happened 3 years ago. The fact that he got to perform on the Grammy's and everyone gave him a standing ovation is like saying "OKAY! You beat a woman but you're a good dancer, so you are forgiven and that makes everything ok." The award he got later only helped cement this idea.

I'm sure she just felt the need to speak out about it.
