Beyonce has strengths & weaknesses just like Whitney, Celine & Mariah had or do have. It's not impossible to match them vocally. I'm not saying that she'd slay them all but to act as if she "can barely yodel thru DIL" is a lie. The fact that you weren't offended by Leona & Xtina included but you felt the need to point out Beyoncé's inclusion says enough.

Kelly just doesn't get enough credit. Her range is insane. She belts effortlessly without having to go into her falsetto to get up there. She has control and versatility. Not to mention she was operatically and classically trained.
I think because she rarely shows off that people doubt her. Their loss I guess.
She's not in your face like Christina or Bey so she gets shaded. Thats why I need her to continue to pump out hits with crazy vocals like Since U Been Gone and Stronger so she can slay them live. I looooooove those songs and I'm not knocking Bey's voice or her vocal ability but I do know that she'll never hit those notes from I Care live and that she'll never be able to that modulation from LOT live. But yes, Bey is definitely in the Vocal Trinity from my generation and so is Kelly Clarkson. She's so underrated that its INSANE!!!

They are all overrated and held highly because they were KNOWN for being vocalists and only that. None of them danced, none of them performed, and none of them sang fast paced dance songs. We all know that the average person thinks belting loud means you can sing better than anyone and everyone when that is NOT true. They are all AMAZING vocalists, we know that and would never deny it. But Mariah has NEVER been a great live singer after the Emotions era, Whitney was always a 85% great live singer, and Celine sings the same damn songs and tends to get nasally at times.
Like I said a few pages ago, she can sing EVERYTHING they can sing and probably better, you probably didn't think Kelly Rowland could sing Fantasy but she did it right in front of Mariah the other night and surprised everyone including me. And I may be young but I have studied singing for a very long time and Ive heard all of the girls being mentioned various times minus Celine ().

See, I was almost willing to deal with you until you tried to say Bey lipsynchs, not only is that an insult to her talent and ability, but it's also a flat out lie. She dances, Kelly does not, so unless Bey is singing an uptempo track she is singing 100% live, and even when she is dancing she uses a backing track and her backup singers and still SINGS LIVE.
And NO MAM, no video you can pull will EVER convince me that anyone can sing better than Beyonce Giselle Knowles live, I dont care who it is from any year, I just don't see it happening. We are talking about a woman who sings better live than in the studio, its the other way around for every other amazing vocalist except Patti Labelle who is also a flawless live vocalist.

Kelly's vocals on Stronger are some of her best. Her belts are Stronger than ever and she used her falsetto way more than she has before and in different ways.

please stop with the delusion! Whitney's live vocals in her prime, before the drugs took a heavy toll on her voice, was INCREDIBLE! Her control was unmatched. So much passion and her voice was aesthetically pleasing to the ears and she did it effortlessly!

Yes, Bey can sing an uptempo better than all 3. She EXCELS there like only Chaka Khan and Donna Summers can match. But her weaknesses far outweighs Nippy, Mimi and Celine when they were her age. It's unbelievable. Bey can barely yodel through DIL, she sounds a hot ass mess when she sings Listen and she never sings the full song. Halo is about the only vocally hard song she'll attempt live. Her vocals on Resentment live was NOWHERE close to her vocals on the cd. Like lets be serious here!!!
I didn't feel the need to call out Leona because those head notes she hit are HARD TO DO... he didn't post any of her other songs so there simply wasn't a need. Christina is a beast in the studio plus I'm a fan.... no lies were told that upset me. A lot of people might think i'm reaching (maybe i am) but i think "Ray of Light" is such a difficult song to sing (even for Madonna, who KILLED IT live just one time at Oprah. ).
