Ok, there's some ****ed up **** going on right here. The Independent already posted a review with 2 stars (already counting on MT) and now this one comes out. Sputnikmusic has 3 different reviews, they credited the lowest. What kind of disorganized mess?

In fact, Lana Del Rey is as fine a pop creation as we have seen and heard these past few years. Grant shrewdly chose an evocative stage name, describing Del Rey as a “gangsta Nancy Sinatra”, coined the term “Hollywood sadcore” as a pretty accurate summation of her sound, and took a leaf out of Lauren Bacall’s book by deliberately lowering her voice to the sort of vampy alto drawl which kills you when it calls you “honey”.
I've never heard of the Tiny Mix Tapes website. Is it being counted on metacritic. Anyways, why would anyone be surprised by the Pitchfork review? I saw it coming.

@ her receiving mostly great reviews. IThe album is growing on me a little bit. I agree with EW on this though:
