Taylor and Selena recorded themselves rapping the song, which is obviously what interested them more then anything of the song. They paid the chorus dust in their videos, as most people do in their covers.

Nicki did make the song a hit, but so did Ester as well.

At around 2:45 of the song, you can hear a hoarse voice sing in the background of the bridge.
Ester Dean is clearly the one doing that "boom" part throughout the song.
Nicki does sing, but only that little hum at the beginning and the bridge towards the end.

This. Nicki has praised and thanked Ester's contribution to the song THOUSANDS of times.

It's not like she goes all uncredited like Stargate go uncredited for 90% of Rihanna's songs.

No need for profanity. Are you mad? If I have to get technical, Ester only says "Yeah thats that Super Bass," and "Yeah thats that Super Bass." Nicki does the " Boy you got my heart beat running away, beating like a drum..." and the "Cant you hear that boom, badoom boom......" in the chorus. The bridge is not up for argument because none of that should be confused for Ester given that she's not talking in any part of that.
