I see. I still think it's pretty flawed, lol. A good idea, maybe, but that extra 5% can be a big difference if the sales and airplay of an artist (such as Kelly this week) are so far apart. For instance, under the flawed system, Kelly and Adele are only separated by 6 or so points. Under the real calculations, they are separated by about 15.. gives a clear indication that Adele will still be #1 by a decent enough margin even if Kelly does outsell her by the 70k ish Kworb estimates she will.
