'A Star Is Born' hasn't even been filmed yet so let's not. Jennifer also has a Golden Globe nom for 'Selena' and the critical acclaim Jennifer received for 'Out Of Sight' has eclipsed any amount of acclaim Beyonce has ever gotten for any of her movies.

And as already stated Jennifer movie career is much more versatile and she has tackled a wide variety of characters and genres than Beyonce has. Beyonce's most acclaimed roles are the ones where she plays a singer. Beyonce is a singer in real life. Not much of a stretch, again as already stated.

Beyonce can have singing and what the hell give her dancing over Jen (although I think Jen is a stronger dancer) but to say Beyonce is a better actress than Jen is just ludicrous especially considering before the singing career, fashion lines, perfumes, and all her infamous relationships Jen was an actress first and a pretty acclaimed one at that until she got sucked in to all that romantic comedy junk.

I know JLo got a GG nom, but if they both got one then where does that them in terms of one being better than the other? that's why I added more than just a GG nom. ASIB hasn't been shot, but it's gotten lots of hype already, even before it was confirmed. On top of it being a "sacred" role shared by Barbra Streisand & Judy Garland. Meryl Streep complimented Beyonce's acting in Cadillac and now Clint Eastwood is seeking to work with her. And also, Beyonce was part of the list of ppl on that one list of ppl up for the Oscar voting academy thingy, so I think they see something in ha.
