Let me look this up. Do they have sample ones online?
I'm 99% sure they have examples of DBQs used on previous APs. Shocked your teacher hasn't even gone over them.
Pretty much, you're given a prompt and 8-9 documents of information pertaining to the prompt. These documents can be excerpts, pictures, charts, etc. Your objective is to develop a strong answer to the prompt using a combination of the documents and knowledge you already have about the subject. I've done dozens of them for the last two years, so they're nothing to me now. Our history teachers are real big on preparing for the AP.
And Rem, your response in the Fave Member thread was such a kii. It was longer and bigger than Black Swan, Bridesmaids, King Kong, Rihanna's forehead, Chris Brown's dick and the wait for Born This Way to release omffffff.

I failed at DBQ's and FRQ's in APUSH and AP Euro. My time management was horrible.
I was pretty good with the multiple choice sections though.

We already have a theme song.. or at least an anthem.
It's that Khia & Miley Cyrus mash-up of 'My Neck, My Back'.
Also, our Irrelevant snack is bagels.
And yes, that was just from a blog from months ago, though.. if I did it today, I would have at least 25 members added in.

Oh, yeah, I've stuff like that on tests in the past. That sounds longer though. What is that though? Is it a multiple choice test + that (which is what we had), the test itself, or homework?
