I never heard about those new moderators before they were only members.

Lee happens to be the person that I was hinting at earlier, someone who has been posting here for over seven years and has shown no signs of slowing down and has always presented himself very well, both in normal ATRL posts and especially in his applications for this process. He's going to be a GREAT mod.

You have no idea how tough it has been to decide on these applications. The moderator team really has been overwhelmed by the quality of many of your applications, and there have been some applications that even blew me away, which doesn't really happen all that often. There was one application that completely won me over and made me a full-on supporter of that person...and I'm not even sure if that applicant is among the top favorites. Just amazing work, guys, really.
