If you applied this common sense logic to the entire forum, it would be a better place.

I disagree. Members have to bring their head out of the stan clouds. You walk up to a regular
person on the street and ask for a Beyoncé song, they will say "Single Ladies" -- not
"Irreplaceable," not "Crazy In Love," and not "Run The World (Girls)." Beyoncé has
obviously had other successful songs, but "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)"
is Beyoncé's only "iconic" song.

That's not true. People still quote "Irreplaceable" to this date and "Crazy in Love" is consistently recognized as one of Beyonce's greatest songs, and not only by her fans.

A stan is going to defend something they feel to be untrue. Especially in this situation. The thought that Bey has one iconic song is foolish, especially when someone is trying to pass their opinion off as fact. The main problem on this forum is people trying to pass EVERYTHING negative about an artist off as truth.

Sure, it's not a Bey thread, but doesn't mean you can't maturely address the question. That goes for you too, Navy.

Vin is just trying to change the subject to beyonce's iconic moments when we have yet to find rihanna's one.Obviously the fact that he is rocking a britney avi will turn this thread into Britney/Kesha vs B thing.l am not here for that....not yet.
l've been in this 27 pages thread and none of the navy member can say that l've insulted anyone or skipped a question. So miss me with this bs

But if you don't stan for her , why do you care if she's iconic or not?

You at least have to admit that Umbrella is iconic. I mean, come on.

THIS. Because Bey's only had FIVE number 1 hits (Crazy in Love, Baby Boy, Check on It *cringe*, Irreplaceable, Single Ladies) her fans love to exaggerate and act like they were the biggest selling singles of all time. CIL was the perfect opener to her legacy. Baby Boy was just a hit like Rude Boy was. Irreplaceable was a big hit and anthem, but only Single Ladies would amount to iconic (if you are willing to discredit all of Rihanna's chart performances and critical acclaim). Apart from that she's only been iconic (in your internet stan-world) for winning MULTIPLE Grammy's, being the lead singer of a BIG group, and performances. While she's a great performer, has she had original performances and ideas that can be compared to (the real icons) Madonna, Prince, and Michael? No. Single Ladies choreography was a phenomenon and it worked because it was simple and got everyone doing it. That's her only really good video that's been captivating. Rihanna's had Umbrella and now what seems to be WFL -- which have been praised as good videos. Iconic in her own way? Yes. Is Beyonce iconic? Yes, none have done what these two have done. Keep them in their own lane. No other female Pop singer has come from the Caribbean and has infectiously put their voice on the airwaves as Rihanna has done. WAKE UP! She'll be SOMETHING MAJOR one day. Keep wishing for her to fade.

EDIT: It's somewhere on Rihanna Daily if I recall. I just don't wanna sit through and read all the articles. I saw it around 08/09 when I used to browse that site. You can look through the archives if you want.

You are saying this and I am stating the opposite. I even remember how she said that she was tired of the long hair and that's why she cut her hair twice during the GGGB era.
