I see what you're saying and agree. If you could choose which life to trade for, of course it'd be Beyonce. I mean, she really has everything.

Every one knows Britney & every one knows Beyonce. He meant in the sense that she's not that relatable to the masses. Beyonce doesn't have a story like a Britney, Madonna or Michael does. There isn't much controversy there, she's always been pretty straight laced and always plays it safe. Not much of a risk taker. That's not shade though.

I really wonder about this plane of existence you grew up in wherein Britney was the New Messiah beloved by all when she was one of the most lambasted major artists of her generation.

This is the problem though, there were people back when Britney first came out who ran the streets just to get her autograph, who stayed up until 5 am in the morning to see a glimpse of her and there were straight men who wore pink glittered shirts with her name on it just so she would sign it for them and get a kiss on the cheek. They had no shame. She had frat boys doing her choreography to Oops!...I Did It Again in front of national television. This isn't a fantasy this actually happened. People loved her and they wore that **** proudly. Britney when she first came out was loved without abandon and it was okay to like Britney. It only became uncool to like her from 2001 onward. But people most certainly did love Britney without abandon, without shame and without guilt. They didn't feel guilty for it back then they did later because she wasn't as "cool" as the other rock/rap/hip hop artists who came out afterwards. This whole guilty pleasure thing for Britney is like that now but it wasn't always like that. Which was my point.

The only reason why Britney is 'more interesting' is because her life was a mess. Simple as that.

I commend artists who at least try to keep their lives personal. Their jobs are to entertain and make music for the buying public, not be ran over by the media because of their personal choices.

And those little bits just made are just foolish and minor. We all know pregnancies can't be hidden, and Twitter rants are so forgotten and not even taken seriously. Neither of those should be compared to the **** Britney has gone through.
