The Sexy and I Know It video has been flagged, and it's already plummeted from being the most-watched video every day to somewhere outside of the Top 20.
The sales tracks of each of the songs is more similar to Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling in reverse. Boom Boom Pow was the song that had the bigger burst sales during its peak, and I Gotta Feeling outlived it. Sexy and I Know It may already be over 3 million in sales and at the top, but Party Rock Anthem is at 5M sales and comes back just as hard every weekend. It'll probably reach its peak sales week this week months and months after it reached its #1 peak everywhere else. I mean, Party Rock Anthem literally hit #1 6 months ago and it's challenging the sales of the new hit.
And of course Party Rock Anthem benefited from holiday sales. It shot into the Top 10 immediately and has continued to gain ever since.
Oh, and if you wanted receipts regarding the videos...Party Rock Anthem currently has 338,000,000 views, and Sexy and I Know It is at 184,000,000 and may never see 200M if it doesn't get unflagged.
