The problem is that up to this point almost eveybody's posts are the same in order to create some sort of shade or joke. There doesn't seem to be creativity and originality on them anymore. Honestly, I think we could easily have a member with 4k posts where 1k of his posts are simply posting the word "Clocked" and 3k more posts are for posting "True tea" and "Bitch please".

What kind of music discussion can actually be created from those kind of posts?

They would probably say more if they werent so afraid of getting warning points for the most simple sentences. For example, Lipton only says about three words in most threads outside of SYG because he knows people are waiting to report anything and everything he says just because....

Take this thread for example, people are being warned in this very thread for making jokes about getting warnings.

True but those forums are not meant for discussion as much as the Lounge or Music News might be, if that makes any sense. A game is something to enjoy and a countdown is something to appreciate, perhaps show support for. You cannot have much discussion required from those two, while with threads about a new album or someone's opinion on favorite song would warrant more in a post.

I agree at some point. The concept of commenting countdowns is actually kind of losing nowadays. As for games, it would be great if post counts wouldn't increase when voting in MCs as it was two years ago.

Are post counts really that serious though? Post whoring is post whoring, regardless of the post count increasing or not.
