I love Born This Way (song) so much, but if I could I would have stuck with the album's original layout. Gaga should have came back with a bang, critically and commercially. Even though BTW did so well on the charts, it still didn't come into the top 10 Year End Charts. But it isn't always about the charts, and I am glad took the chance to put her message out there. If she releases Scheisse, then Im pretty much set for the album era.

MTN/TEOG/BTW/Scheisse were what I saw as must-release singles.

And to be quite honest, every artist could do better singles and Gaga couldve in the past. The only way you stay in the industry longevity wise is if you go for a message or a new artistic direction instead of that instant hit.
Gaga could've done Monster instead of Alejandro, she couldve released Boys Boys Boys.
Rihanna could've done Cheers before CKB or Man Down. Beyonce couldve released End of Time by now. Britney could've done Gasoline or another classic pop song versus Criminal, etc.
The list goes on and on.

If you keep running with the "perfect" single list, hit wise, you're going to show no flexibility as an act and will fade away.

This alleged tour name is lame, especially since Gaga said she would never name her tour after the album. I much rather the Road to Love tour

But I am in agreement about another album out next year. I know BTW was just Gaga's era of doing what she wanted and how she wanted, but to release something more pleasing just right after so quickly....Especially considering how TF impacted for so long. Born This Way is going to be forgotten if Gaga does...No one is going to remember this era.

Yep, they did everything so backwards. They thought 'oh, let's release the bad stuff first because we know you'll sell, then release the good stuff.' No. They should have released Gaga at her best first. She would have done 10x better. Then halfway through the era Gaga could have gone experimental.
