She means she sings through a lot of Don't You Wanna Stay.
Regardless, it's still on Jason's album. And she is a feature.
It is not Kelly Clarkson & Jason Aldean, it is Jason featuring Kelly.

The chart ranks worldwide, cumulative airplay (not peaks). The fact that MKIA--in the matter of a few months--outranked much larger singles that have been played for much longer periods of time demonstrates the impressiveness of MKIA's (underestimated) success.

Also are you sure the first two went platinum? I'm pretty sure they hit Gold, but not sure about the latter.

People need to realize DYWS definitely is one of Kelly's singles. As far as I'm concerned, the song is classified as a "duet" (meaning it includes equal participation from all members) and is featured on her latest album. It is simply the single after AIEW (or Already Gone, depending on how you look at it) and before MKIA.

Shouldn't it be #1?
Lmao, can a song go #1 when it is given away for free?
If so I'm in all.
Make IDHU free, I need a higher peak

Who cares if it says "featuring"? She's still making money from that song. If it wasn't her song, then she'd be getting no money or awards. She won a CMA, 2 ACA's, and could possibly win a Grammy in Feb. for this song. I don't see how this isn't her song too? It's also on her deluxe album.

That chart is complete crap. Go have a look at it. It has songs that achieved minimal airplay out peaking Adele. S&M was a monster hit in multiple countries for a very long time. Rihanna is massive all over the world. Kelly has received solid airplay in about five countries.
And the sales is a subjective matter, but there is no doubt she would have higher album sales if WDKY was released. It's simply common sense.
DYWS is a feature, not a duet. They only decided to change that understanding when it achieved phenomenal success. Without Jason that song would not of achieved country play. Look at Dirt Road Athem. Jason's name is selling bloody well atm. Yes Kelly deserves credit, but I would rather we look at her individual accomplishments.

Yes, however it's actually been doing well in the last few weeks, staying in the Top 30 for now So that's good for MKIA

Just because a song reached large airplay peaks in SOME countries doesn't mean ALL countries gladly supported it. You are also forgetting a massive factor: longevity. Longevity can easily allow a lesser hit to overtake a larger one.
I agree her sales would be higher, but she wouldn't open with 600K (I don't think you meant opening sales, but the way you worded your post made it appear that way).
Lastly, I took the liberty of finding my copy of My Kinda Party, and, I quote, "Don't You Wanna Stay ( WITH Kelly Clarkson). That's a duet and not a feature.

Wait I played WDKY all the time with the wrong tag?
Is it What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) or Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)?

It won't change it's billboard position. Songs under $0.39 won't count.
