Did I say "nothing"?
I said that Madonna and Britney Spears do not inspire anything she does. It's the R&B girls.
Just because she conducts herself as a pop girl sometimes doesn't mean that she is a pop-influenced girl.
Read my posts better.

No **** since it shows in their work, but nothing in Beyoncé's work is remotely similar to Britney's.

And the thing is, if Bey is influenced by someone she will SAY SO. Hell, Madonna's influence on Bey has been VERY minimal, but Bey has stated that she sometimes watches Madonna's concerts for ideas regarding staging and whatnot. I have NEVER heard her mention Britney.

How to make your entire tribute into a dedication and introduction to Beyonce? Do we blame her?

Thank god Britney knew how to make good use of her screen time.

Now as for the Queen

What is this, another female artist citing Britney as an influence and inspiration. Joining such people as Taylor, GaGa, Rihanna, Ke$ha, Miley, Demi, Selena, Lana and the list goes on. Such an industry joke, no one respects her, and she has no influence.

BASICALLY. Saying she's never been influenced by them, especially Britney, after the entire media backlash that she received for doing so, is just nonsense.

Right, especially Madonna.

Your new fave Lana is one of the many artists that claim Britney as an influence.

From that same article:
“Anytime Beyonce performs, it’s a really big spectacle,” Britney said. “I’d love to see her perform. That would be fun.” Does this mean a possible collabo between the Queen Bs?
“That would be fun, that’s a good idea!”
Whoever wrote that got the wrong idea, she never named her as an inspiration.

You're kidding right?
You act is if Britney was the first edgy and provocative artist.

Because Britney is still relevant. It's harder to pay your respects to someone that still consistently tops you day in and day out.
