What needs to happen is that there need to be poll of all the applicants. There should be run off votes until two candidates are left and who wins gets to be moderator bringing democracy to ATRL.

This got me thinking maybe it could work if the admins shortlist the best candidates they think appropriate for the job and let ATRLers vote on it.
