SOME POSITIVITY ABOUT ALBUM SALES.
Born This Way album up one position to #21 from yesterday in the UK midweeks. This is a huge week for album sales, so I think (mininum) 40K are definitely on lock (in its 31st week); after the UK promo week, the album has had healthy longevity (not only regarding increasing holiday sales, but also positions, which is amazing considering all the new releases and Christmas albums). I see it has been discounted on iTunes: very smart move.
The album is also increasing on US iTunes thanks to a $7.99 discount and has been discounted on Amazon (I read yesterday here), and with sales generally increasing thanks to Christmas, this will translate into another very good week there. NYE will probably keep it going through the post-Christmas weeks.
Heavy Japan promo is also coming (if she's really taping that thing on the 31st, that's more than huge promo).
