Oh thanks for clarifying Jclark. I read it was written for someone else but no mention of who. I had no idea about the leaks until about 2months ago & finally decided to listen to them a couple weeks ago. Some of them are amaze, Love in these eyes... I'm so late to the leaks party lol

Love in These Eyes SLAYS. That was written with Kara for Breakaway but I guess they didn't want another song with "eyes" on it (that's just my guess.). lol

No I'm just really really late. There are no new versions, I just didn't follow what was happening in kelly world during the leaks drama.

Not really.

I actually gotten into her way way more in that era.

I loved Breakaway, don't get me wrong but MD brought in the deeper side of Kelly, the raw, the one you can relate to...And so I did.

Oh don't get me wrong, the album is so underrated. To have such incredible songs such as sober & maybe. The whole album is a gem. (maybe is my number one kelly song, EVER )

What I meant was it was a hard time defending her to my little hearts content. But, just showed how great her fans are for sticking by her while everyone else went onto the next fad

Can we talk about "Maybe" though? Kelly's GOAT! The most flawless song she's ever written. The epic heartbreaking ballad that slays me every single time I hear it.

I love how it builds up. I love how she doesn't just blame the guy, she also blames herself and lists her faults.

Maybe strikes a chord, hard! For a person to be honest with not only the person breaking their heart but also to themselves & admit they too are in the wrong & messed up. WHO WRITES STUFF LIKE THAT?!?!?!?! Only the queen can
