If Scheisse is the next single, then I think it's best that she continue trying to build momentum...maybe Scheisse would have a better chance at charting higher on that format.
Plus, after Christmas, AC should pick up MTN....since I'm not sure if they'd just go back to spinning all those songs they were playing...that's lost a lot of airplay...they could pick up a few newer songs afterwards to refresh and update their old ass playlists. Maybe MTN will be one of those songs.

Gaga has started to become a top 10 HAC artist. It's just now starting to pick up here. I see no reason for her to move onto a new single when this song has potential to smash here too.

MTN is still the newest song on POP that's so high on the chart. Though it looks like domino is going to displace it as well as ADELE (but she's the exception for everything anymore these days) Though, even more, domino is a sleeper hit and has been on the chart 90 days in comparison to MTN's 40...and ADELE'S 23.
So, I think that it's possible that at the top of the year, that MTN could still continue to rise as long as any negative updates aren't too huge like, say, -100+. If they're like -8 or -20, I think it'll be ok...
I think they should just stick with this single.
It has a lot of potential left, though many people don't really see it. The potentials there, but it's gotta be the right time.
They play what they're told/paid to play and that is it. If Gaga wants MTN to do anything, she'll shell out the cash just like everyone else.
