Katy's not in the running for #1. It's not happening unless they discount the remix, & even if they do that, WFL would put up a strong fight since it's so ahead in Airplay. Considering the holiday freeze is about to happen, I imagine both WFL & TOTGA falling (meaning the airplay gap won't decrease much), but WFL will have better stability since it's older & has already had so much success.

SAIKI: 153 + 106 = 259
TOTGA: 121 + 105 = 226

It's difficult to predict next weeks because sales for this week run into Christmas day, on Sunday. Giftscards come out... I don't think anyone knows what will happen.

The remix would have to go, maybe top 15 at least, all week if she wants #1 next week. She's already missed pretty much 2 days of sales. The week after should be Katy's target week. Ie, sales from 26th - 1st January. She should organize promo for then.

Reguardless of whether or not it will go #1 or not. Even Katy stans know the remix and discounts are a joke and she does not have to right to disrespect MJ by beating his record with a generic pop album like TD.
