It's obviously noticeable that the 2011 sales in the Top 10 are weaker, but as someone said, the overall numbers for this week in 2011 are still higher. Simply meaning the rest of the HDS chart is selling strongly enough to make up for it. Notice that most of the songs in the 2011 Top 10 are peaked, while in the 2010 list some of the Top 10 was still gaining popularity (Grenade, Firework, The Time). Notice how the peaked songs in 2010 by that week (We R Who We R, Raise Your Glass) had similarly big drops to the songs that had big drops in 2011 (We Found Love, Sexy & I Know It, Without You), which have all peaked. TOTGA is the exception because the performance effect of the AMAs wore off that week (it didn't gain again until the discount).
