The only thing that fans like you are doing is having extreme surrealistic expectations. We are in an Era that was designed not to be commercial, if not, she would have payed payola, discounted the songs, made remixes and sucked Calvin Harris, Dr. Luke and other producers dicks. But she's not into that, and her label too. If not Interscope would have done something the second they saw Judas flopping.
Am I delusional for being realistic? HA. And Gaga's not flopping. Her 45 dates tour this year grossed more than the 100+ dates tour of Katy Perry, and she's ''The Queen of Singles''. Rihanna had trouble selling those tickets and her new album didn't debuted on #1. She has the record now for 6 consecutive albums not #1 and she's another supposedly queen of radio. Britney, Kesha... I'm not even going to continue. Gaga has only 1 #1 single this era and she has sold 8 million copies of an album (Rolling Stone sort of confirmed it) why then you want of her then? Now that her music has more substance than ever?
By the way 5 million copies of a single = 5 million $
5 million copies of an album = 50 million $

Don't act like she wasn't a commercial musician please, she don't need to discount anything or use Dr.Luck, Calvin Harris to produce anything, she did it in the past without them becuase she created hits and signature songs and she knew what she was doing, i don't know why some of you have this pretentious attitude as if GaGa were some sort of alternative act, i mean Born This Way is a great album but is not alternative enough and not commercial enough you see the problem now is something in the middle, and yes it has more substance, but there's no balance between substance and commercial, she is the biggest girl in pop, she can sell albums and arenas, and i don't know why you started to talk about the other girls in pop because that's not what we are discussing, let's not justify her underperforming singles showing how successful she is in front of the other girls because they Katy and Rihanna did better single wise this year, single's success are not irrelevant the reason why GaGa is known is because of her singles Bad Romance, Poker Face, Paparazzi, who the **** is going to remember the singles from Born This Way besides the hardcore fans?, the album was/is intended to sell, if not they would not have done the out of this world campaign and the massive hype, they want to sell, the album is 8 million shipped not sold, she will hardly sell those numbers, and btw 5 millions ww are great considering the situation,she is still relevant and has cultural impact, but next era she needs to deliver and really bring it with the singles, that's all!
I already addressed that. Commercially (sales wise) the song is weak. I cannot give you an explanation as to why as I don't know. All that can be said is that is part of the reason why it's taking longer to chart in the top 10 on Billboard. It will rise on iTunes with more time.I truly am shocked though that it did miss top 10 with the video.
