I wouldn't say it's filler. It's actually really good. But it's just not very catchy. There's no clear hook, which is really needed for radio

Here's the reason for me seeing more potential in WAWL than DOL. WAWL fits better the requirements that songs need to fulfill in order to succeed on the radio.

It's filler in the sense that they threw it on the album for fun, it serves no purpose. They needed to pick another BT and since Rihanna likes it they put it on there.

True. WAWL has the better hook. But I don't want either of them for singles. That's just my opinion of course. With an album this good, I can't complain about any of the 14 songs that turn out to be singles. I just think that Farewell has the ballad category on lock as far as singles go. It's not a better song by any means, just more catchy. It's like the ballad version of Only Girl.
