Neither did Born This Way. It only did so well because it was the lead. The Edge of Glory is the only thing released bound for the top 5 with nothing stopping it.

Yes, Ellen is tomorrow. So it wasn't on yet. There was just a preview online which is where the gifs came from.

It is the gateway to the album. Everyone I know hates this era and Born This Way Except HML and TEOG. I know a few avid Gaga haters who still **** to this I am all for it being a single. She just shouldn't over complicate the video.

Idk about HML its one of the only songs that i can listen to for a LONG time on replay and not get annoyed... but idk if radio will be open to it.. I can see it having PUK type of success

Just needs an intro to the radio edit. HML is a party song by the end of the day, which is why I do think it will do well. If it doesn't do well, it is not the song, just probably released too late in the era. I do think it should have been released sooner. MTV had a poll and HML was voted as the best song (I think of 2011?) right before You and I was picked as the next single
