Well, see, I think Marry The Night is doing fine...
It's clear ANY Gaga single (after Judas) was going to be less strong on the commercial/digital sales point.
However, not only that, but Gaga has always been predominantly a Pop format smasher...see Bad Romance, her best song only peaked at like 118 AI...that was when Rhythmic gave her a sideways glance.
Marry The Night is almost at a point where it done better than Judas (yes and it has taken longer to get to that point, but it's still going steady). It's starting to get support from HAC, finally, but that's to be expected. She has never been a staple for that format, and only seen huge success since The Edge of Glory. It seems that MTN is the first song in a very long time that Rhythmic has really wanted to even look at (besides TEOG, yet again, TEOG). So, it's just going to take some time.
With the delay of support from these other formats, I see it pulling a YAI type of performance...slowly reaching into the top 10 (on pop radio) and then slowly dying due to the longevity by the other formats.
It may sneak 1 week inside the top 10 on billboard, MAYBE. but it's clear that it's not going to be as strong as YAI commercially (at least at this point in its single era life).
Anyway; uh, yes, it's an underrated album. Not for the casual fan....seriously.

I know this is not a dining room conversation, and you don't have to listen if you don't have the time, but let me remind you in case you don't already know...
So true, I really want a Scheisse/Hair video but I would be Ok if she decides to end this era right now. She could focus on tour/next album and not damage her career more than she has in the last 6 months. But I'm starting to worry that she might don't change - that she may think that this era is succesful. If she thinks that way, her career will go downhill. She needs popular music in her next album, she forgot about that in this one.
EDIT: Born This Way is my favorite album, I said that a million times. But it doesn't have popular music on it do you guys get it? And she needs that to be relevant, to stay with us. I hope you guys feel that.

Too bad. If she makes flop music, Interscope will most likely gain back control on her work, and her creativity will be confined. So, she needs to find balance between that so that she can still be relevant and make her own music.
I know you all are saying MTN is flopping, never gonna get top 10, etc. but I think it will for sure reach top 10.. Here's why:
~Even tho at first glance MTN might look like its flopping on radio, but it's not.. It has reached The Top 20 on Pop already, and it's only 6 to 7 spots away from #10. And Alot of the songs under it are either dropping out this/next week or they're dropping in spins fast since they're really old. And the spins for MTN keep increasing everyday, so there's no doubt it will reach Top 10 on Pop Format.. It will hit Top 10 next month or In Feb.. Quote me on it..
~It hit #14 on ITunes , because of the video, which was a mega success surprisingly.. With the promo she has lined up, it will hit Top 10 on ITunes, even tho it Dropped to the Top 40 on ITunes.. But still it has time to grow.. Its a smash waiting to happen..

Uh...yes. People don't have to sell 10 million copies of every album they release in order to make music. I'm she would still make music even if her albums sold next-to-nothing.
