This took place on a college campus. Where are you getting that they "come from the hood"?
The first thing I noticed, before the fight even began is that they were at a college, how are people missing that?
And I've seen the school before but I can't remember where it is, that's my MAIN concern here. You don't get too many full on, bloody brawls at colleges, they will expel your ass without even blinking.
If you're brave enough to steal from a n!gga, you brave enough to get beat up by a n!gga. End of story.
That statement does not mean that we're defending the aggressor. You guys can go off on him all you want, and I'd agree. The only issue is all the "poor victim" posts. No, I'm sorry, I don't feel as bad for him as I did before I read that he stole from the aggressor. These dudes live in the hood, come from the hood, or whatever — they know how it works. But in almost ALL communities, not just the hood, when you steal from a fellow young person, you KNOW you're going to get your ass beat. And I can definitely say that in ALL communities, not ONE young person is going to the police first.
I am DYING at this video. @2:31 "That's a big ass knife, man I'm scurred."
What coonery. I paused it right there though, I don't wanna see the hammers.
And IMO WorldStarHipHop is good. EXPOSE THESE THIRSTY-FOR-VIEWS HOES! WSHH is the reason why almost ALL of those involved in these videos get arrested.
Oh, and fun fact, a few weeks ago, a fight between these two persons from my school in their neighborhood (they live on the other side of tha tracks ) as uploaded to World Star. Ch... it was ALL we talked about for like a week, it was the most brutal **** I've ever seen, and to think, I've seen these people before. I'm not even going to give you the slightest hint as to what video it is, because thats TMI, but it was horrible.
But thanks to WSHH, the police booked 'em. Get the trash ouT.
Yes, a post with some good old fashioned common sense. Thank you, Doc.
And you have GOT to watch the rest of the video just to see everyone's
reaction when the police show up. It is classic.
We have no idea if he stole the shoes or not. All we have are ignorant fools who think the kid stole from him. I can't at posters taking his flawed word as law.

!!!
I don't understand why anyone would even attempt to debate where this took place. It's clearly a college campus.
What bothers me the most is that it was ignored. No one stepped in.

...Vin
Did you even watch the video, Vin?
I refuse to believe that you could be so ignorant as to conclude that he stole the shoes and got what he deserved.
People being ghetto. I can understand both sides though. There was obviously many different ways this situation could've been handled. Unfortunately not everyone is gonna go the higher route or contact the police if someone steals their belongings. People these days are crazy and will attack and kill people over the most insignificant things so people should think twice before they act.
The sad thing is the attacker won't have to deal with much, especially if he's involved in athletics. The coaches will do anything to lessen the punishment for their star players. The most he'll get is a semester suspension.
It's not even a matter of societal class, it's a matter of anger control.
You can't resort to violence in EVERY situation. If I resorted to violence every time someone infuriated me, I would be at Rikers Island getting my cakes smashed by my cellmate right now. You have to learn how to handle situations better and not be so quick to hit someone.

This video is just a disaster.

And you can't assume the bystanders didn't do anything. Someone could've called the police.
Yep, and that's ****ed up. It's like you can't do anything to stop it unless you want you some scars here and there. So frustrating, ****ing wannabe gangs.
True, and the rest of the animals would have stepped in. You can't see injustice and can't stop it.
Foamposites are ugly. I'd take a pair of retro Js, specifically the Space Jam edition, over those anyday. This is pure coonery at its finest. I wouldn't say I wouldn't be mad if someone stole a pair of my sneakers, but there are more ways to solve these type of issues. First of all you need to find out if it's any truth to the rumor and if he actually did steal the shoes, solve it in a civlized manner. It's not worth risking my future, education, pretty face, and my flaw free criminal record over.
On another note, what college is this because I need to transfer.
And that's whats really getting me. The boys who UPLOADED and SHOT the video are the ones saying he stole the shoes. But the contradiction comes in because they also said he wears that outfit and those shoes everyday and has been doing so the entire year.
This video isn't really surprising. I've heard of worse happening in situations like this, even in my own city, with people who turned out to be innocent of have no implication.
The image of African-Americans in the general media has already been ingrained and reinforced over decades. The majority of the time when a non-celebrity African-American makes the news or headlines, it's usually something negative or a crime.
If you were to ask ANY other race in American to "act like a black person" what do you honestly think you'd get? My guess is it would be something close to this for a male and a ghetto Shaniqua/Sheneneh impersonation for a female.
That's how we're viewed in general. We're dumb. We're ignorant. We know nothing. We steal. We kill.
Is it completely a lie? Not really.
African-Americans comprise the majority of the prison populations nation wide.
African-Americans are always at the VERY bottom or next to last in any standardized testing category.
The African-American high school dropout rate is alarming.
The African-American teen pregnancy rate is alarming.
The list could go on all night.
African-Americans are so crippled, diseased, and plagued as victims of a culture that they themselves maintain.
People discuss all the time how X has four or more different kids by different women. He's with none of the women, takes care of none of the children, sees none of the children.
It's shrugged off. No one really cares. It's now assumed standard that a young black mother is a single parent with the father not around.
Honestly, the myriad of problems that exist within the Black community will not be solved in any of our lifetimes.
It's easy to control someone that's ignorant and dumb. They know nothing.
Why would anyone legitimately want to help that plight? Seriously? Is anyone really concerned with this filth on a national level? Nope.
TBH I feel the other races would be happy if African-Americans just stayed in the projects/ghetto and never left.
It's not an issue so much as the problems that exist, but how they spill over and affect other people(specifically whites).
