If there is one thing that Interscope can do to make this not a total failure, it is to pull out all the stops to make sure this hits top 10 at some point. I'm talking promotional appearances, discounts, 3 remix EPs, a charity special, all of it.

I'm pretty sure if she releases a radio-friendly song, she could get back on track and easily slay the other girls. Some of you may say she lost her digital power, well I agree, but it's because of the music she puts out. If the general public doesn't like a song, they won't buy it, no matter how huge that artist is (see Beyonce). I think she still has their interest (A Very Gaga Thanksgiving ratings, A Very Gaga Holidays #4 on iTunes without any banners or promo, MTN views, regular Twitter followers, BTW sales increasing after that Thanksgiving promo ect), and people still buy her albums and go to her tour.
Of course singles success is VERY important, but it's not the scale of how seriously that artist is taken by people. Taylor Swift has never got a #1 @ Hot 100, but she's still the biggest artist in the US. Rihanna, on the other hand, has 11 #1 but couldn't crack 200K on Black Friday week.
I believe that Gaga is here to stay, no matter how ****** this era is (like some of you say), or how people lost interest because of her non-catchy new music. She has built a strong fanbase and somewhat got a stable support from people, I think she won't go anywhere soon no matter how she messed up things this era.
Now back to MTN. It's my most favorite song on the album and I really really want it to be one of her signature hits, but at the end of the day, it's just a single. We couldn't do anything if it flops, so meltdowns are not necessary.
