KP wants TOTGA to get the highest peak it can. I know how desperately she wants that #1 (just look at the ellen interview on 11/11/11) but TOTGA will not go number one and it really isnt fair to those songs that do deserve a better peak.

I'm going to go ahead and predict that Party Rock Anthem and SAIKI will come HARD for the #1 spot as NYE draws near.

First off, Katy isn't nearly as worried about it as Capitol. She said she was hoping that it would be her sixth #1, not that she was desperate. I never like to shade Rihanna but she and her label have used tactics to get a higher peak. You just need to relax, and realize this is how things work. It is called promotion. And I think I'll agree, you are damned pressed.

Did Katy discount the single? Did she make the promo happen that has happened? No, of course she would like to go #1, who wouldn't, but if you seriously think she is as worried as Capitol you are sadly mistaken.

Indeed. Promo is promo, if Katy can manage to sail a sixth single to the top then that is incredible, period. Of course singles #5 and #6 will need more of a push.

Completely delusional. Anyone who pretends Gaga, Rihanna and Katy aren't at least as obsessed and proud of their chart performance as their label are completely and utterly delusional. All three have shown time and time again that they are locked to the charts.

Sis, I'm not the one who said Firework could sell for a whole year and CG could sell nothing and it would still be ahead of Firework, and Firework is already ahead.  I'm not being delusional. Being proud and being desperate for #1's are two different things. You tried though.

I never said anything about anyone being desperate. I said they all want those hits at least as bad as their labels

Stop saying its off-topic just to avoid the fact that you're just as wrong now as you were then about her biggest WW hits being crafted by Dr. Luke. Indeed, her second biggest WW hit to date is IKAG.
I said she's just as obsessed about getting that #1 hit as her label is, and dont act like her saying "I'd like for it to go #1" or whatever she said makes her some artist above chart positions because it didn't work for Gaga when she tried it and it sure as hell ain't working for Katy. They all want it and rightfully so. God forbid they want to be the biggest

Go on the ellen interview and keep replaying what she said right before TOTGA's video premiered. Knowing her intelligence and Capitol's cleverness, Capitol did not make her say that.
