Some artists (Gaga for example

) performed it everywhere... but YAI flopped! No longevity, no sales, no radio power! On the other hand Katy smashed! After AMA's she exploded on itunes. needless to say about Firework's performances & its run... TOP 20 for so so so many weeks!
It's really bad for those poor people to deal with those 5 #1's...

I hope it stays consistant with the dark green updates, and then of course, christmas time will come and people will use their itunes gift cards to get the song (since its cheaper than the rest) and it will stay high until the New Years performance, in which it will hopefully skyrocket, and then it will stay on top until the PCAs in which Katy is the most nominated person there, so shes likely to perform, in which it will raise sales yet again! And at that time TOTGA is likely to be #1 on pop radio too!
Lets not forget the sales generated from the Remix EP, and I have a feeling that on SNL theyre gonna say something right before a commercial break like "The One That Got away Remixes, now on itunes" or something, generating more sales for both the remixes and the single. Damn, I guess capitol thought about this more that I thought they did...
