Of course it's her label. I doubt Katy sits down and says, "Let's discount the song." However, it still makes Katy look bad because people don't take that into account. It also makes Katy look bad because it shows she doesn't have control over what her label does to her music. It sucks because she's better than this. TOTGA would have peaked nicely, but no, Capitol is so desperate for another #1 that they have to make Katy look bad.
She should have a say and she should put her foot down because it hurts her reputation.
