But the thing is, compare this era to other artists at the moment, she's blowing people out of the water. If Adele wasn't around, she would have the highest-selling album of the year and people would be like, "OMG, SHE'S SLAYING EVERYONE." Most people have this "single sales are all that matter" mentality and that makes them think that the era's not doing well when it is. BTW has already outsold TF (w/o rerelease) and is on its way to outsell TFM alone. Her album sales are amazingly consistent.

A lot of us were still living on the hype that had been formed from her singing that snippet at the VMAs . This era is succesful, in terms of any other artist this era is really good, however in many of Gaga's fans minds and super stans this Era is underperforming.

Success comes in many form and saying this era isn't successful is just plain ignorant.
Hm, let me see, this era... Lady Gaga unleashed more of her capabilities as a star to the general public which resulted the public to have a different view.
What is not successful with a Lady that is being praised as a business woman by people that work in the market field?
What is not successful with a Lady traveling all over the world and gaining respect from the leaders of that country?
