i LOVED that scene! When the last scene ends and she's having a breakdown in the bathtub and the very next cut is of her painting her hair! It was brilliant. GaGa's directing during the prologue blew me away.
She honestly could have spent more time editing the music video portion, but in spite of that this is by far the best video of the era.
Finally watched it. I LOVED IT! Old GaGa was back. The Fame GaGa that I find much superior returned

EDIT: But I'd like to add: If they cut out the first 8 minutes of the video for TV then the video will look just as boring and similiar as Edge Of Glory and people won't get it.
They'll probably edit it in a way to fit in as many scenes as possible. At least I hope so, but if they don't I still think the scene with the dance studio is way more enjoyable and interesting than anything in TEOG.

The video keeps getting better after each view. My fave part are the ballet scene, the appartment scene, when she leaves (badazeler), when the song kicks in and the final minute!! Bravo!
