well i dont want a stan wars again, :| but she post that in a Bey thread???
The thread was "Rihanna's prolificness in the music scene" , it was an article praising rihannas string of consistent hits. I don't think he deserved to get banned for that but it is what it is.

Based on the songs up against her, the only massive hit was Thompson Square. However, their other singles have pretty much flopped. The Civil Wars are critically acclaimed and I believe Kenny Chesney has been nominated a ton of times, but has never won a Grammy. However, it peaked at #3.
Wow, I can't believe Kenny Chesney has never won a grammy. I looked it up and you're right! So of all those nominees Kelly's the only Grammy winner!
I think all songs have things going for them:
* Kelly/Jason: #1 for 3 weeks, wide commercial success, most downloaded country collaboration in digital history (nearing the 1.8 million mark), won a CMA for Musical Event of the Year
*The Civil Wars: critically acclaimed, CMA nominees, and the type of band Grammy voters like. However, not the biggest success.
*Thompson Square: #1 for I think 1 or 2 weeks?, Most played song of the year in country radio, CMA nominees, nominated in country song category. However, like you said that's been their only big hit.
*Kenny/Grace: Peaked at #3, good reviews, CMA winners (for video though), nominated in country song category.
I hope with DYWS's cross genres success, Kelly's voice/name, and Jason's current "it" guy in country status can help. The Grammy's have leaned more on commercial success, so if that's the case DYWS will win. But then again sometimes the voters go for what they like and might be an upset! Grrr wish I was a fortuneteller, lol.

DYWS is the biggest hit on MKP and this song continues to reap success for over a year, sometimes I think this is the biggest song on country music
