I never thought she'd actually get another AotY nom. That's amazing.
I just really hope she won't leave empty-handed and get just one.
The nomination in itself is a HUGE accomplishment, I'm not expecting a win. I would be happy if she gets atleast 1. AOTY nomination is a HUGE deal, for Lady Gaga to have gotten that is beyond amazing, popstars don't do stuff like that. Popstars don't even dream of that kinda of ****ery, they want pretty diamonds and #1 hit singles.
Being recognized by the Grammy comity three times in a row, for all her albums is beyond amazing for a Pink POPSTAR.
The crowd seemed a bit down — and, truly, the theater, oddly, a tad empty — so having Gaga launch the show was the best medicine: Her smoky, sultry rendition of “Marry the Night” instantly brought everyone to their feet. And believe me, the crowd was not enthused for some of what this oft-dry show had to offer, like when Rihanna’s performance of “We Found Love” in London was flashed onto the screen. That was a real mood killer. Gaga, in fact, got the crowd amped up several times — including during her “You and I” duet with Sugarland. The only response to that collaboration was: Wow, that worked. And whether you believe me or not, the most screams were for her name when it was announced that Born This Way had been nominated for Album of the Year toward the end of the show. Love her or hate her — and love or hate her last album — she’s still the biggest artist around right now.
You know, i just wish ATLEAST ONE SINGLE from bornthisway (besides the title track) could get to #1 without being FORCED AS HELL as if we're raping the public into buying it. Theres nothing wrong with gaga fighting for good music- bornthisway is my favorite album ever, the problem is with the general public who cant appreciate something different and want to be spoon fed stupid simple soulless hollow dance **** with no meaning.
Marry The Night is going to have to be forced down the publics ass like no other single. Its a great song. The public is just to daym stupid to understand the concept. Half of them think its about marrying a knight. smdh.
I'm so relieved and happy that Gaga got that AOTY nomination, along with two others. Like I said yesterday, it was very interesting to see which road the Grammys would take, in other words, whether they liked the album or not. Because remember, some critics were not here for it while others were. I guess they didn't agree with that critic who gave it 0/100

I loved Grammy MTN performance, the best so far! I hope it will be a top 10 on BB! I actually doubt if it can or not... If not i think she should close the era. If MTN cant even chart well, Scheiße really cant. She needs that unique&commercial sound back..

MTN won't flop. It will be a top 10 hit. But If the music video doesn't live up to the hype and doesn't effect MTN on iTunes or radio then we should be concerned about it flopping.

End era? Now? I Don't think so, but IDK (if MTN fails you guys should expect just one more single, keep that in mind). Hair would be a TOP10 hit that's for sure...

Ending the era would just be downright stupid, she has a tour to promote and she can still milk this album, look at the increase in sales. Shes still doing decently around the world, with many more promotion spots to come. What will she do in her break between album and tour if she were to end the era? The most tragic thing for her to do at this moment is take a break from the public. She will continue to support her singles to come while promoting her upcoming tour. She has been hinting at a tour everysingle interview/performance. She can't just disappear.

Sorry I don't mean end the era as in... not tour. She can still go on tour. She can always promote her songs on live performances, they don't have to be singles to be performed. All i'm saying is that she should not release anymore new singles. If she tours and then releases a new song during the tour would that hurt her? And I don't mean like a full EP. I mean like a brand new single from something that wasn't on BTW.
I want her top 10 streak to continue but it's really not the end of the world as so many of you are making it out to be. As of now I just really want her to support this album, no way the era is over with the tour coming and the album hasn't even been out for a year.
